Nespresso Soho Boutique

sector: Food
district: SoHo, New York
92 Prince St, New York, NY 10012, United States

In a nutshell

Boutique flagship for the coffee-capsule-and-proprietary-machines brand, blending expertise, demonstrations, tastings, purchasing and recycling.

Closed as of 2025, with the new Soho store now located on Broadway.

In their words

“The flagship boutique offers customers a multi-sensorial space where they can discover the entire Nespresso product range whilst enhancing their own coffee expertise.”

Visit Field notes

A two-storey corner plot on one of the most chi-chi Soho streets, the store shouts its intent to impress. The ground floor is wall-to-wall capsules and machines, while the first floor is a mix of demonstration/tasting space and consultation areas. Mixing grab-and-go convenience with personal-shopping style, the KPIs of this store focus on customer eduction, service and brand perception rather than solely upon capsule sales.

Note that the store has been in operation nearly a decade and so is not a short-term marketing endeavour.
