In a nutshell
Petco's "dog lifestyle" brand emerges from an in-store aisle to have a Soho flagship. An energetic store that caters well for dog owners.
Although now closed, the DNA and the brand can be seen at the Petco Flagship. This is an example of a brand test that goes on to a better iteration. For those who visited it was a brand-defining tenure that is still talked about in 2025! Currently the location is a Max Mara store.
In their words
"[gives] New York City pet parents a hub to bond, recharge, and find the latest must-have gear to style their best lives together"
Visit Field notes
- The first impact is a well-stocked, comprehensively-ranged dog heaven!
- The staff are visible, friendly and passionate.
- Note the many 'dog areas' - treats, resting/parking areas, grooming, training.
- There are lots of advice points. Customisation is possible for apparel and accessories.
- The rear of the store houses a Just Food for Dogs refrigerated area for orders and purchase.
