RetailX Performance Indices

RetailX benchmarks the performance of retailers worldwide according to over three hundred select metrics.

‘Footprint’ metrics, including revenues, web traffic, app users, and the number of stores, gauge the fascia’s significance in the customer’s mind and influence the market.

RetailX records retail performance above and beyond its size and financial metrics by gauging how accessible, convenient, affordable and otherwise desirable a retailer’s services and general offering to the market is to consumers in general. For example, we measure customer service by the speed, helpfulness, and simplicity of support, and we benchmark returns by recording which specific options such as home collection or store drop-off a retailer offers, whether returns labels are shipped with the products, and whether an option leaves the customer out-of-pocket and by how much.
